You are driving traffic to your website, but is it the right traffic?
Is everyone under the sun visiting your website EXCEPT for the people that you are targeting?
Do you even know who you are targeting?
Create three lists, a primary, secondary and tertiary list. Take a look at your customer base over the last six months. Divide your customers into the three lists (Do not include family and friends in your list). Primary being the customers that are frequent buyers, secondary are the customers who buy on the odd occasion and the tertiary list is new customers or customers that you would like to target. Write down the demographics of each list, including the age group, gender, area and which social media platforms they are using. eg. Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram etc The more specific you are the better.
When you set up digital ads, use most of your ad spend on lookalike audiences similar to those of your primary list.
